As part of our ongoing "Getting to Know Your Local Businesses" series, this week we sat down with Dean Tsagaris of Patriot HVAC, LLC.

Tell us a bit about your business:  What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?

Our business was established in March 2016. YES we are a new entity on the HVAC market. However, we as individual are not newcomers by any stretch of the imagination. Our Senior Technician (and my good friend) holds a Class “A” HVAC license and has over 25 years experience in the field.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?

Coming from the Northeast and my mother being from Quebec (yes colder than a brass toilet seat on the dark side of an igloo) my wife and I moved to Texas to get away from winter. Our first summer in Texas, and a broken down A/C for 4 days made us realize that this would be a satisfying business to launch.

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?

We are proud that we have an affiliation with Shriner’s Hospital for Children (and working on other charitable affiliations). We feel it is essential to give back to our community. We are also proud that members of our staff are upstanding community volunteers serving on area Search & Rescue, Swift & Flood Water Rescue Teams and Volunteer Firefighters. They bring tireless work ethic to the table in all that they endeavor and have been specifically vetted in this regard, to join our team.

What is your favorite part of running this business?
Sharing a portion of our service fees with Shriner’s. We are to expand our Charity contributions to Veteran and Cancer Research causes.

Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?

We understand that different people make the world turn, hence, we are blind to ideal customer designation and treat all with utmost integrity and professionalism.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?

We are modest individuals and would prefer talking about Patriot HVAC LLC as a Team. We bring to the table ethical standards that we think are rivaled by none. Our staff’s mutual respect for our Military and Veterans fuel our ambition to succeed. We want nothing more than to respect their service by chasing the American Dream, hence, our name Patriot HVAC LLC.
Are there any special promotions, annual sales, or special events that you'd like to mention?

The Charitable affiliations mentioned above are as a result our staff members, personal interests. One of our staff members as a child had a crippling condition that was rectified by Shriner’s. My wife is a Cancer survivor and we want to reach out to all our Veterans.

Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your business?
We will give you an honest days work.

How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?
We our confident in our approach and who we are that “word of mouth” will be our bases of growth.
