@susieq : This 3 lb roast is going for at least 36 hours. That's where the tough texture loosens up. It's a whole different mindset. I will say, SV also does amazing things with any other protein (seafood, if you like it, is amazing), and veggies.

We use our sous vide for filets and rib eyes, very delicious. Cook at 140 for an hour and a half then do a fast grill. We love our sous vide.

This sounded so interesting, I ordered one for the brother for his B Day. He's a great cook on the grill and the smoker and loves cooking toys. So let's see how he does with this. Sure beats getting a golf course gift card again ☺️
