The largest I have ever done was in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield. We had a bunch of husbands who's wives had left the country, several other single guys, and some military people. A couple of Saudi nationals also came. I think the final head count was about 50.
@carymc1 : It is really, really good. There is a sauce, buttermilk, butter, and coconut that you pour over it. When it comes to food, I am full of surprises and ideas.
Simple things, make a spice cake, split the layers, and add apple pie filling. cream cheese frosting lemon cake, same thing, split layers, put lemon pie filling between, regular butter cream orange cake, split, make lemon pie filling but use oranges, put between layers, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
I will have all my vegetables chopped and measured before I even start cooking. It looks like it will be 2 pumpkin and 2 pecan pies, and the cake. Not sure if I will get around to rolls. At least I am sure I have enough green beans picked for everyone. I will work out my flow chart today or tomorrow so everything gets done at the same time.
