Pearland shelter is looking for Medical Foster or Rescue
Meet Spirit, a roughly 2-year-old White Husky with a gentle heart and a softer personality. She was brought to the Pearland shelter after a resident saw her hit by a car on Broadway and Harkey. They posted her pictures and reached out to find her owner but unfortunately no one came forth to claim this sweet gal. Pearland Animal Services got her to a vet where they conducted x-rays and it was found she had suffered both broken ribs and a broken pelvis. The decision was made to pursue surgery to help this girl which would require a plate being put in and recovery of at least 6 weeks so that she if given her best chance as a normal life in a loving home. Spirit is currently in surgery today and will need more help as her recovery should take place in the calm and quiet of a home.
Would anyone be willing to medically foster her? Is there a rescue who would be able to intake her into their organization and assist in recovery and the finding of her new family?
Please reach out to them through email at
