@MalluGuy : No, I subscribe to the crime reports. Nothing in Southwyck IV for sure. I am not scared. I have never lived in a city where I was scared even living in Chicago in Uptown.

@MalluGuy : I was born in a small town outside NYC. I lived in Evanston, IL near Chicago for over 35 years and loved it. I still have relatives in NYC. We visit, but don't want to live there. Some of my relative are on Long Island, others are in Central Park West. I won't put down the Bronx, but I really love Chicago. (and don't bother bringing up the crime - it is in isolated neighborhoods and not where I lived in that area either).

Magnolia / South Fork helps with undesirables driving through the neighborhood.

We were driving by there last weekend, and I craned my neck to see in - the business was ALL kinds of lit up, and you could see a lot from the road (518) - to me, as a general no body, it looked as fishy as it could get.
Sidenote: We drive by there about once a week. That is the first time I have EVER seen lights on in that store after hours. Probably would have saved the store had they kept lights on.
The location is in the same strip center as Bayou Restaurant is.

@MalluGuy : Most of the crime reports around the Southwyck area are arrests not burglaries or thefts though there are a few thefts of things left in cars. There are just as many on the east side of town.
