The election is referred to as a Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE).HOW DOES THE DISTRICT BENEFIT FROM THIS ELECTION?Passage of the VATRE will result in a nearly $11.2 million increase in funding for the District, while still decreasing the total tax rate by 16.54 cents. The district uses these funds for teacher and staff salaries, books and classroom supplies, utilities, educational resources, custodial, insurance and other items that help educate students each day.
