Wow, another one! I went to one a couple weeks ago to get a tea since a friend gave me a gift card. I don't drink coffee so don't normally go to Starbucks and they have nothing I crave. I was in the drive-thru line for over 25 minutes!! It was the one across from Home Depot on Broadway nearest Friendswood.

@wondersunny78 : Wow, 25 minutes!? The lines always seem to be long at Starbucks. I wonder if people normally have to wait that long. I don't think I would leave for work 45 minutes early so I could stop for coffee but maybe some people think it is worth it.

@Km6464 : I know of two in Pearland in which the lines are always so long in the mornings and afternoons. It is just nuts! I would have got out of line but I figured I should just use the card since I am in it now. It wasn't long when I pulled in, maybe 6 six cars ahead. But then I looked back later and the line just kept getting longer.

@Blackbird : And I don't care for their coffee. I am not really a coffee drinker any more but theirs is just too bitter for me. And I don't do all the fancy drinks, too much sugar and calories.

@TownHubAdmin : When they first started they were good. Now I think the coffee are WAY overpriced for what you get. Yes , inflation but it's still much more than even Nordstrom's coffee at the Galleria.

Starbucks and Chik-fil-a come to mind, but usually I can park, walk in, and leave with my order way faster than if I sat in the drive thru. I can think of 3 corners I routinely drive thru where I avoid the right lane because of a CF-a drive thru blocking the lane all the way around the corner. One has a SB next door, ugh!! Plus, once you're in the drive thru, you can't get out. I can walk out of a place that's insanely busy.
