Pearland Independent School District proudly presented the third Pearland Partner Livestock Show on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022 at 6 p.m. at Richard L. Wagoner Agricultural Facility at 4715 Bailey Road, Pearland, TX 77584. The District hosted the livestock show highlighting students with special needsThe event created an opportunity for students with special needs to be paired with and mentored by Pearland ISD Future Farmers of America (FFA) students. This year’s show is under the leadership of Turner College and Career High School seniors Lorelai Dodson and Hailey Vitols.The event is an opportunity for students to not only work with animals in the FFA environment, but to also interact with some of Pearland ISD’s outstanding student mentors.“I am really excited about this event and for the amazing opportunity it represents for students with different abilities to work together with shared interests – students learning from students,” Dr. Lisa Nixon, Pearland ISD Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, said.
