2022 Pear Run at Independence ParkThe Pearland Pear Run is kicking off it’s return with a family-friendly 5k fun run on Saturday, May 7 at Independence Park at 8:00 a.m.! The event invites runners of all ages to join in for this “out and back” course that will start and finish inside the park. This year's event will be a 5k fun run for all ages. Run the route or walk it, just come out and have fun with the community!The Pear Run is an annual fundraiser with proceeds used to benefit the Pearland CPAAA and the Pearland Police Department. Runners, joggers and walkers will receive a finishers medal and t-shirt for the first 250 registrants. So don’t delay, get your registration in today!Registration cost is:*February 1 - May 6, 2022 - $35*May 7, day of the event - $45This is a rain or shine event and as such in the event of severe weather, the Pear Run may be delayed or cancelled. If the Pear Run is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will not be rescheduled and your generous donation will still be applied to benefit the Pearland Police Department.
