Hey all you Splish Splashers! Grab your swimsuits and sunscreen because the splashpads at Southdown & Centennial Park will open May 1st, 2022 - just in time for Concerts In The Park! And they’ll be open all summer long to keep you cool & refreshed till September 5th, 2022. Be sure to check www.parks.pearlandtx .gov/ or follow along on social for upcoming pop-up events happening at the splashpads throughout the summer.

@Megyn1 : I'm curious about the 55 and over community you live in. Do you purchase residences or are they leased? Is it a single family home or in a building? what are the benefits vs living in a traditional subdivision?

Actually I'm not. I love the weather RIGHT NOW. Low humidity and this temperature is paradise for me.
High humidity, temperatures in the 90-100's and biting mosquitoes is not my cup of tea.

@MalluGuy : we live in Country Place off McHard Road. It is a 55 and over community. There are single homes and some townhouses. There are only about 4 homes that are a 2 story. We do have security. There are a total of 841 homes on this neighborhood. Everyone is very friendly. There is plenty to do here if you choose to. Community is very quiet and very friendly. You should come and check it out for yourself.
