Fosters needed at the Pearland shelter
Updates from a Foster:
Fosters are deeply needed in the animal world as it helps them adjust to a home environment. It lets the young puppies and kittens grow up while they wait for adoption, and even spending time outside the shelter increases their chances of being able to board a transport out of state into their new homes. One of their foster’s sent over some pictures of the kitten’s she is currently fostering. They are young but doing wonderfully in the care of a home environment until they are big enough to find that perfect home.
The shelter will provide the kennels, blankets, little, food/water, vet care while these pets are in foster, all they need is you! If you have room in your home to help foster a pet for a couple days to a couple weeks, please let them know. It is through working together that they can help secure a bright future for all of the lost ones that come into their care.
Please email
[email protected] to receive their foster application. They are in desperate need for big dog fosters currently but can use fosters for any of the pets here in the shelter. Time spent in the home environment is a treasured gift any foster can provide.
