Keep Pearland Beautiful Going Green Tips!

This St. Patrick's Day, Keep Pearland Beautiful will be celebrating going GREEN! Here are a few tips to get started on recycling! Share with your friends and co-workers to start going green today (Wednesday, March 17th)!

Going Green Tips:

*Start Small-Paper, cardboard, metal cans and glass.

*Set up a recycling container next to your trash can.

*Rinse out any items and containers.

*When in doubt, leave it out.

I try really hard to recycle everything I can and appreciate any tips or info on the subject. I recently read, for instance, that you should not smash your aluminum cans when you put them in your recycling bin because it makes it harder for them to be sorted properly. I never would've known that!
