SPCA of
Brazoria County thanks the community for their support
Wow! They are absolutely humbled by the outpouring of community support during these trying times! Once they get through this unprecedented weather disaster, they will post the amazing statistics on the number of dogs that are spending their nights in warm foster homes! Due to available shelter space and foster offers, on February 16, they were able to take 7 dogs from their county shelter that doesn’t have a temperature controlled kennel area. They also sent pet supplies to the Lake Jackson Recreation center for the Winter Storm Shelter.
The community has showed up daily to offer help, supplies and support! Their staff has braved the elements to make sure their animals are cared for and their facility was prepared for the winter weather. Thank you
Brazoria County for helping them ensure that the area homeless pets are well cared for!
Check out the pictures of some of their dogs enjoying their foster homes and amazing community members delivering much needed supplies on their Facebook page!
A few days ago, they were asked to post their updated Amazon Wishlist. They have depleted much of their shelter supplies and appreciate any donations!
