FREE memory screenings in five
Brazoria County libraries next week
The
Brazoria County Alzheimer's Awareness Project just received a proclamation from Commissioner’s Court proclaiming November 2020 as “Alzheimer’s Awareness Month” in
Brazoria County, Texas. Thanks to Judge Matt Sebesta, all the Commissioners, the
Brazoria County Library System, and all the residents of
Brazoria County for supporting the Alzheimer’s Awareness project. Their annual FREE memory screenings in the county libraries will be November 16-21. They have programs to prevent and/or reverse the symptoms of dementia. Early detection is KEY! Please get your annual screening in one of these libraries in November! Visit

Much like an annual physical, a memory screening each year can establish a benchmark. Changes in memory can alert you and your healthcare provider to potential memory loss issues or other health problems. There are lifestyle changes you can make that may delay or reverse cognitive decline. EARLY DETECTION IS YOUR BEST DEFENSE! Check out their schedule. Don't miss out!
