Brazoria County Parks reopening to visitors and vehicles
Surfside Jetty County Park, Quintana Beach, and the Follett’s Island public beach reopened to visitors and vehicles at daylight the morning of Saturday, September 26th.
- The Quintana fishing pier will remain closed for repair.
- Access to Follett’s Island beach will be from Access Road 1 until Access Road 5 only. Access Road 5 itself will be closed.
- There is no beach access from Kelly Hamby County Park.
- San Luis Pass County Park is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, September 29th.
There is still the possibility of debris and uncovered wreckage.
They strongly encourage caution when driving on the beach.
