Interested in adopting a pet or being a rescue partner at Pearland Pets - Animal Services

All of the animals in the shelter as of 9/15/2020, Pearland Pets - Animal Services is scheduling appointments for meet and greets/adoptions after an application has been submitted and approved. Adoption fees are currently being waived. Each pet will come with his/her age appropriate vaccines, city registration (if required) and a microchip.

If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please fill out an application on their website at: www.pearlandtx.gov/d epartments/animal-se rvices

@PearlandDotCom : I wouldn't work for us. Our dog 🐕 Buddy is not friendly .

@PearlandDotCom : only saw 14 dogs. Mostly pits. I hate their website, it's a pain in the rear to get where you want

I have checked periodically but haven't seen a possible fit for me yet. I already have a chihuahua mix and he doesn't get along with every dog. I live in an apartment so am looking for a smaller, older dog. I love young dogs but I'm older and I don't think it would be a good fit.

I wouldn't mind being a rescue partner down the road once we start getting back to the normal times we used to have.

All ours have been rescues and not a normal one in the bunch:-) I wouldn't have it any other way! But we have 2 dogs and 2 cats and we love to travel, and 2 are pretty old, makes it hard to travel!
