Library Curb Side Pickup
Brazoria County:
As a first step toward resumption of library services, curbside pick-up of library materials will be available at all branches between the hours of noon and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, May 4.
Only items that have already been placed on hold are eligible for this service. Patrons can go online to the library website at bcls.lib.tx.us and login to their account to request items. They can also call their local branch for assistance.
Once they are notified that the items are in and available for pick-up, patrons may go to their local branch, park in the designated pick-up area, and call the number on the sign. Library staff will bring the items out on a cart and patrons will be able to pick up their requested items.
For the safety of the public and staff, we will not be able to accept money for fines, donated materials, or conduct any other business through this curbside service. We will only be able to check out held items; patrons wishing to return books must put them in the book drop. The exceptions will be the return of library hotspots, tablets and ILL materials. At this time, DIY items are not available for this service.
All of our library buildings remain closed to the public, but book drops are open for materials to be returned. All library materials currently checked out have a due date of May 8. If you have any questions please call your local branch or the library administration office at 979-864-1505.
