The Brazoria County Narcotics Task Force has arrested a suspect they're calling "a major supplier of methamphetamine in and around the city of Pearland."
According to reports from BCSO, on April 26, 2019, the Brazoria County Narcotics Task Force (BCNTF) executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 2000 Block of Cedar Street in Pearland.
The search warrant was obtained by the BCNTF after a five-month narcotic investigation. The investigation was initiated by numerous anonymous complaints regarding narcotic activity at the above residence.
The Combined Agency Response Team (CART), consisting of members from the Pearland, Alvin and League City Police Departments, assisted the BCNTF by making entry into the residence and securing all subjects inside without incident. Also assisting were additional personnel from the Pearland Police Department.
Once CART secured all individuals, the residence was turned over to BCNTF Agents, who then conducted a search of the residence. The search resulted in the arrest of one individual, identified as Christopher Robert Thompson, and the seizure of approximately 4 ounces of methamphetamine, 5.7 grams of MDMA, 7.9 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of THC edibles, 3.5 ounces of marijuana and $8,478 in US currency.
Thompson is believed to be a major supplier of methamphetamine in and around the city of Pearland and northern portion of Brazoria County, according to the BCSO.
Thompson was booked into the Brazoria County Jail on two charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and POM.
@damascus1986 : right, none of these seem like the kind of amounts you would see from a "Major" supplier. Maybe he kept it moving steady so he never had too much on him, doesn't look like the smart type, but can't judge a book by the cover I guess.
@braddletoad : i was just pointing it out we had a discussion in the past week about how much was a felony anything under 4oz is a misdemeanor so crazy he had 3.4oz . i guess they said" major" because of the meth but still you would expect more. im sure he dabbled in his supply some.

@PearlandDotCom : I moved into the house across the street from that house four years ago. I leave for work about 5:30 every morning, and there would be people coming and going at that time, as well as late at night. Glad it's over with. We have too many kids on this street.
