Old Alvin Road Widening Complete

All lanes of Old Alvin Road between Town Ditch and McHard Road will be opened to through traffic beginning Tuesday, February 26, 2019. This road widening project, which was approved with the 2007 Bond Referendum, is now substantially complete.

Additional work will include installation of a new school crossing at the Cockrell Elementary School driveway and installation of streetlights by CenterPoint Energy. Traffic Advisories will be published as warranted to inform the public of future lane closures for this work.

@PearlandDotCom : when you guy's starting widening project from Mchard to Knapp ? I know if was in plan... but any update on if project is approved and when it's starting ? Will appreciate any update. Thanks
