Pearland's Hometown Christmas Parade

It's the 37th year for the family-favorite, lighted Christmas Parade here in Pearland.

Make plans to come out and watch the beautifully-decorated floats decked out in holiday spirit. Businesses, non-profit organizations, families, individuals, and civic groups are invited to have a float in the parade.

This year's theme is Pearland 125: Past, Present and Future. This theme recognizes the City's upcoming 125th anniversary, marking the kick off of a year-long Quasquicentennial celebration in 2019.

WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m.

WHERE: The parade will travel east on FM 518. The parade begins at Old Alvin Road and ends at Pearland Parkway. (Spectators can park at the shops along the parade route.)

We camped out next to an O'Reilly's last year I think (check footage of video above). We got there about 45 minutes before the start. I do remember it being across the road from Starbucks because my girls made a last-minute trip there right before the parade started, and had to sprint back as police were coming down the road.

@Stealth83 : if you're coming from the Westside, in the strip center where the Salvation Army is. Turn right op out of lot by Long John Silver's, will have to snake around to reach John Liver/turn right, cross 35, your on your way home. Option 2, Aldi parking lot, exit at the back of the store, right on Walnut, there is a 4way stop @ Walnut & Old Alvin, turn left, will take you to Join Liver, turn right.
