New Facility coming to Pearland from Endress+Hauser
Endress+Hauser to Build New Facility in Pearland's Lower Kirby District with 110 employees.
PEARLAND, Texas - Leadership from the City of Pearland and the Pearland Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) are pleased to announce that Endress+Hauser has chosen a site in Pearland's Lower Kirby District for its Gulf Coast Regional Center.
Endress+Hauser, a leader in the field of measurement technology for industrial process engineering, manufactures instrumentation and devices and provides solutions and services for more than 100,000 customers worldwide, with more than two million products supplied per year. Founded in Germany in 1953, the company now has nearly 14,000 employees around the globe who develop, manufacture and sell 2,000 products in over one billion design variants depending on customer requirements.

It means an investment in Endress+Hauser's dynamically growing US business as well as into the strategic development of the whole Group," said Greg Miscik, Vice President of Operations, Endress+Hauser. "With the new facilities we can improve our customer services, manage additional growth and expand our competencies in the field of advanced analyzers for the process industry."
The PEDC and city officials began working with Endress+Hauser and its site consultant earlier this year on the project. The
100,000 square-foot Gulf Coast Regional Center will include an area for calibration and repair and offer office and training space, including a brand new state-of-the-art PTU® (Process Training Unit). Located on a 17-acre site on the southeast corner of Beltway 8 and Kirby Drive,
the facility will be home to approximately 110 employees, including management, engineering, sales, operations and administrative personnel.

The Lower Kirby District is a 1,200-acre mixed-use development in northwest Pearland, fronting South Beltway 8 and State Highway 288. The District is home to office, retail, commercial and industrial projects and continues to expand, particularly in the areas of life science, energy and manufacturing. Existing developments within the Lower Kirby District include life science projects such as Swiss-based Lonza's viral and immunotherapy development and manufacturing facility - the largest dedicated cell and gene therapy manufacturing facility in the world, Merit Medical's R&D and manufacturing facility, and Cardiovascular Systems, Inc.'s medical device manufacturing facility. Other developments in the District include Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation's manufacturing and service facility, Dover Energy's manufacturing and operations facility, Pearland Surgery Center and Bass Pro Shop. In addition, IMC Group, a Berkshire Hathaway-owned company, is currently building a headquarters and manufacturing facility for one of its companies, Tool-Flo Manufacturing.
