On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, the City of Pearland's contractor (Uretek, USA) will begin concrete pavement raising repairs on Forest Park Ln. The work is planned to be completed by September 7. The City's street network requires regular maintenance and this project has been identified as a critical area for repair, due to the function of the road for carrying local traffic.
The work on Forest Park Ln. will be concentrated between Grapevine Hills Ln. and Basil Crest Ln. (see map above)
Repairs will commence in the eastbound lane of Forest Park Ln. Alternate lanes will be closed and regulated by flagmen and traffic control devices.
This work will be followed by concrete pavement raising repairs on Mossy Bend Ln. and on Windy Bank Ln. (future updates to come)
Project activities are weather dependent and subject to change. Drivers should be aware of heavy equipment and construction personnel in the vicinity of the worksite, and be prepared for delays resulting from the construction work. However, this work should not interfere with access to any surrounding properties or businesses.
The City urges all drivers to exercise caution while in the area and obey all traffic controls and flaggers.
