On Monday, August 13, 2018, a water outage will take place for services along Galveston Avenue between East Walnut Street and FM 518 (Broadway Street) from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. The City's Contractor, SER Construction Partners, will install a 6'' water main connection that will connect the newly installed 6'' water main to the existing 6'' water main along Galveston Avenue. This outage is being planned to take place during the low water usage hours so as to reduce the impact on customers as much as possible. The city would like to apologize in advance for any inconvenience.This task is necessary to allow for proposed storm drainage infrastructure to be constructed and provide inundation relief in this region.
