The City of Pearland's contractor, Tandem Services, LLC, will be striping the crosswalk at the
intersection of Veterans Rd and Fite Rd as well as installing traffic signage along Veterans Rd
for the Trail Connectivity Ph 2 project. Intermittent lane closures at the intersection of Veterans
Rd and Fite Rd can be expected between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on Tuesday, July
24, 2018.Drivers should be aware that when this work is completed, this intersection will be a 3-way stop.
Traffic traveling along Veterans will now have to stop at the Fite Rd intersection. This provides
a controlled pedestrian crossing.Project activities are weather dependent and subject to change. Drivers should be aware of
heavy equipment and construction personnel in the vicinity of the worksite, and be prepared for
minor delays resulting from the construction work. The City urges all drivers to please exercise
