Longtime Pearland Caterer Opens Take-N-Bake ShopChef Gary LaFave has decided to expand on his catering business and announces the grand opening of The Upper Crust in Pearland.We've all been there (Well, I have anyway)... You're on your way home from work and your wife calls wondering why you didn't turn on the crockpot earlier that morning like she asked you to do. You scramble for an apology and a quick solution! McDs is crap and it's not going to make up for your mistake, and most sit-down places are too expensive. What to do, what to do?! Have no fear, now Chef Gary can save you. The Upper Crust Meals are designed for clients who desire heat-and-eat preparation. Some meals require an oven and others a microwave. They are cooked or prepared, properly packaged, labeled, then refrigerated or frozen. All meals — with the exception of casseroles — include an entrée and an appropriate side dish or dishes. Customers can then take the meals home and heat them at their own leisure. And they're healthy, made with no high fructose corn syrup, fresh and GMO-free ingredients, and no hydrogenated oils.Chef Gary will be offering dishes from all different regions at The Upper Crust, including American, Italian, cajun, middle eastern, etc.. He's even bringing in a chef from Bethlehem soon to specialize in arabic dishes. He'll also be getting some help in the kitchen from family, including a cook, Jon, who is his son, and his wife Deloris, who will be helping dessert guru Tricia Howard whip up some sweet treats. With the new facility, The Upper Crust can now offer meals to more individuals and families on a weekly basis, at a much lower price. This gives families a healthy alternative. Bottom line, the large retail space allows large quantities of healthy food to be available to Pearland and surrounding communities. Starting Friday, 3/17/17, The Upper Crust will be open at 7AM, Monday-Friday. Chef Gary will be serving up these beauties below for breakfast everyday, along with a breakfast casserole sandwich on a buttery croissant, tasty omelettes, and more.
