@Pearland#1 : A lady I know from Michigan went to a Freddy's to try the frozen custard. She said it wasn't very good compared to what she had in Michigan when she was young. I got the recipe and saw how they made it on one of the food shows on tv. They said it was authentic Yankee-style vanilla frozen custard following the recipe of a famous place in Wisconsin. I would like to make some for her, but it is very complicated and a lot of trouble to make just one quart of the stuff.

Mmm - that would certainly be a project then. That is nice of you to even think about doing it though.

I'll just stick with my Blue Bell and Baskin and Robbins occasionaly
