Can't forget Christmas in July. The Hallmark channel will be starting Christmas in July on The 1st. It's crazy but I will be watching. Love that channel no violence.

@Musicmaker : I've never understood this practice of putting out seasonal items months in advance. I have a few friends who absolutely love to decorate their homes & yards with seasonal stuff & they are always over the moon when stores put out their seasonal items months in advance.

Hobby Lobby is dedicated to crafters and some crafts do take time to complete. It makes sense to get the materials out there early. But for me it's way too early to start thinking of Fall, even though it's my favorite season.
After reading this I will fight my car whenever I leave for errands... It will want to go park at Hobby Lobby and push me out of the car... Why ?? because summer things will be 50% or more off to make room for incoming stock !!
After working craft retail for several years, this is to help crafters. For a long time, many people have depended on selling crafts to generate income. By having stuff out by June, samples can be made, orders can be taken, and stock can be built up for craft fairs. I know there have been crafts I could not have finished in a few weeks, even to give as a gift. It is not to get you involved, but the people who want or need to buy early.

Well said. I just wish, for the prices, that they'd offer a bit of diversity. Hey, it's their place, they can choose to see what they want and when they want.
