There is a new Starbucks opened a new location at 7326 Bluewater St., Manvel, in late March.
The international chain of coffeehouses offers a plethora of flavors of coffees, teas, frappuccinos, and breakfast items and snacks.
Location is on hwy 6 just west of Big Horn bbq. I've not been yet so don't know what it's like.

So is a free drink worth the 15 minute drive? Hmmm... it might be! I do love fun coffee places. I go to Scooters fairly often, and of course Starbucks. There's a Dutch Bros coffee in Deer Park that I like to go to when I visit my Mom and Dad in La Porte. Really, I shouldn't be spending the money - up to $6 or more, depending on the place and the drink - but iced coffee is my weakness and it's so refreshing this time of year!
