Looking for suggestions for healthy meal prep. Do y'all have any suggestions? How do y'all keep your cholesterol in check?

@Elegrue : I am not vegan, but I don't eat a lot of meat. More chicken than any other. We have tried a couple of the meal services, I liked Hungry Root. All of them are fairly expensive, and I have picky eaters. I try to cook healthy, we don't eat out very often, and avoid fast food. My husband has to take medication, but so far I am fine.

Are you looking for a food service like Blue Apron or Hello Fresh? I take Red Yeast Rice (a natural statin) to keep my cholesterol in check.

@Musicmaker : I got my cardiac report back last week, and on a scale of 1 to 10, my risk is a 4.5. My dr thinks this is great.

Give up red meat.... and potatoes ... and bread mostly... Eat those veggies...
and think about desserts of fruit ... Thats where you start and when you see good results
then go farther ... Best I can do for you to get you started... Fish helps the hunger...

Drink water, healthier and zero calories. Use a wedge of citrus, or a couple chunks of cucumber to make it tastier. A sprig of mint or basil works, too. Iced tea is also zero calories, just don't go for the sweet version.
Then, as NJ99221 sez, eat a lot of veggies and fruit. Chopped berries with yogurt or cottage cheese makes a great, light breakfast. Have a few meatless meals every week, if you want/need protein have fish or chicken instead of red meat. I try to have a dinner of nothing but veggies a couple times a week. Start eating more salads, esp this time of year.

I find sometimes I mistake hunger for thirst.

It all seems to be a personal thing. I'd recommend fresh vegetable and fruit juices and avoid eggs and beef, due to increased cholesterol. I'd recommend cold press juicers(review) because of the simple mastication method!

@Stealth83 :
Honestly you need to exercise more too. I know no one wants to hear that but gotta burn. No fried foods.

@Stealth83 : Yes! Walking 30 minutes to 1 hour each day will do wonders. It doesn't have to be a brisk pace, but it shouldn't be a lazy saunter either.
