Friday 1st day of heat for a week.
Tonight through Thursday (hot almost every day and dry). Know how to practice heat safety.

At least they have come down from the original forecast of 100 tomorrow. We can't even say, "It's a dry heat," it's just plain old hot.

Houston never has 'dry' anything. Only place I've ever experienced where a rain storm lightens the humidity.

Speaking of heat, this weekend is going to be a hot one! Temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 90s across the region.
With these near record breaking temperatures, a heat advisory will be in effect on Saturday from 12-4 PM.
