Private insurers will start paying for rapid coronavirus tests.
The new coverage begins Saturday, the Biden administration announced yesterday.

How it works: Health plans must cover up to eight at-home tests per person per month.

Insurers could partner with stores (like CVS or Walgreens) to provide free tests.
Otherwise, people will be able to get the cost of tests reimbursed.

When I got tested it came up negative, but guy told me that the rapid test isn't accurate with omnicron and to wait until the longer test results come thru.

@Blackbird : that's interesting. It's been said for a while now that the rapid test can give inaccurate results.

So, if you don't mind me asking - do you plan on testing with PCR Test, when the time is right?

@Txtoast : I had both at the first appt, but the testers are so backed up they still haven't gotten me the results, 5 days later. So I went and had another one done yesterday, they say I should know by tomorrow.

My granddaughter's results came back negative with Curative within 2 days. She needed to submit it to the college health center.
