This is a beginner class, but all levels are welcome. We cover the basics of both on body and off body hooping and then just see what else happens. Hoops are provided for use during class, but feel free to bring your own. When it's dark at night, the last 15 minutes of each class are a hoop jam, so feel free to bring your LEDs or other flow props to play!!! Class is held in O'Steen Hall (back building). I did this when I was little, but I think I might break if I tried it now. Did anyone else have one of those Space Hopper balls? It was a huge orange ball, with a handle. You sat on it and bounced. You could go all over the yard on that thing. It also built abs like you would not believe! We played on them all summer, and then came the dreaded "President's Physical Fitness Challenge." The sit ups? So dang easy, and my friend and I finished before everyone else. In several of the others, there was a huge difference in core strength. Maybe I need to look for one of those.
