FLURONA It seems Houston is now seeing cases of "flurona," the flu and corona at the same time. What can be next? Godzilla and Kong producing offspring? Kongzillas anyone?

I didn't get a flu shot because I had so many other shots. Plus, if I stay far enough away to not catch CoVid how is flu virus going to get me?

@Stealth83 : I keep thinking about that song, "My Sharona." Israel is also reporting cases of this, with hospitalizations . Seems to be hitting pregnant women pretty hard.

@susieq : who's surprised abt getting mutiple viral infections? i had flu & double pneumonia one winter (got a flu shot a couple of months before, too). my dr. said my symptoms were "mild" for being ill with both but still, it was an awful experience. can't imagine having covid & flu simultaneously.

@asg002 : a friend of mine did and she just had the normal flu symptoms. 6 months prior she had only Covid. Lightning does hit twice.
That goodness she's ok though
