Surgery Done!
Hello all - I wanted to let all of you that sent well wishes and prayers that I went through surgery with flying colors. Doctor was very pleased and thinks the tumor was contained and the preliminary pathology report thought the same - we just have to wait 2 weeks for the final pathology report. Even though the prepped me at 10:30 and I had to wait until 3:30 to get to the Operating Room - I felt calm and at peace and I think it was because of all the well wishes and prayers ya'll sent my way. Again - thank you for caring!

Yea,! Stealth is right, walk, but really walk. Head up, shoulders back. When I had my first c-section, there were people creeping all around. An older nurse told me, "do not do the c-section shuffle. Walk, as straight as you can, as soon as you can. You will heal better and faster than all these sissys." I listened, and it has served me well through all abdominal surgeries.

@carymc1 : That sounds like the best Christmas anyone could ask for! Prayers for a speedy recovery and a clean final pathology report!! I'm having surgery Dec. 27th; this message gives me strength to believe all will go well for myself too. Merry Christmas and God bless.
