Clear Brook High School in Friendswood Given All Clear After Bomb Threat
Students were released early after a bomb squad gave an all clear for a bomb threat called into the campus Tuesday morning.
FRIENDSWOOD, TX - Clear Brook High School was given an all clear after a bomb squad searched the campus following a bomb threat to the school Tuesday morning, according to an alert on the school's website.
Students were given an early release at 1:30 p.m., according to the message, and lunches were provided for students who wished to eat at the school.
"It has certainly been a long day for students and staff at Clear Brook High School," Clear Creek ISD said in the alert. "The comprehensive search of the school has been completed and the all-clear has been given."
Athletics and extracurricular activities will still be held as scheduled, according to school district officials.
The school was evacuated in the morning following the bomb threat, and all students and staff were safe, according to the district.
