@Stealth83 : hahahaha. so classic. I do appreciate that. if I didnt buy the pre-made six pack of Marketside ciabatta rolls every year, I would do something like this, most likely.
I put butter. and fresh herbs under the skin. Sage, thyme, sometimes a very little bit of Rosemary. In the bottom of the pan I put more herbs, plus onions, celery, and carrots, a handful of parsley, and a cup or so of chicken broth to get things started.
@Stealth83 : I don't use wine, I have not tried the orange, this may be the year. I told my husband I might need to buy more butter. "I bought 4 pounds the other day, how much do you need?" Uh, a lot?
DD told me she has ordered some fancy Martha Stewart type organic whole turkey, she is going to cook. I have it covered with a Honeysuckle White turkey breast. Other daughter is bringing a smoked turkey breast. We should be able to feed a small army.
