PEDC and the City of Pearland celebrated the grand opening of Endress+Hauser's Gulf Coast Regional Campus in Lower Kirby with a ribbon cutting at its inauguration event today.
Endress+Hauser, a leader in the field of measurement technology for industrial process engineering, manufactures instrumentation and devices and provides solutions and services for more than 100,000 customers worldwide, with more than two million products supplied per year. Founded in Germany in 1953, the company now has nearly 14,000 employees around the globe who develop, manufacture and sell 2,000 products in over one billion design variants depending on customer requirements.
PEDC and city officials began working with Endress+Hauser and its site consultant in 2018 on the project. Endress+Hauser invested $38.5 million into the new 112,000 square-foot Gulf Coast Regional Campus, located on a 17-acre site on the southeast corner of Beltway 8 and Kirby Drive.
The campus also includes areas for calibration and repair and offer office and training space, including a brand new state-of-the-art PTU® (Process Training Unit). The facility will eventually be home to approximately 110 employees, including management, engineering, sales, operations and administrative personnel.
