Don't give them any answers, unless you are bored like I was that day, and then be really silly with them. Tell them they are breaking federal law, because they are, or just hang up on them.

Seems like the same folks always getting the nutter calls.

@kws : no, I get at least 4 calls a day too from someone that I do not know. I just don't answer.

Also, i know it is happening in Friendswood, people are receiving calls from the PD about an outstanding warrant. Needless to say, everything is false and trying to scam money out of you. Friendswood PD is aware of this not sure it is happening in Pearland.

Social Security said they would not make calls, they would contact you via mail with legitimate concerns.

@vegas777 : That has always been true of any govt agency. They use the US Postal Service, because of 'wire fraud' laws in place. No phone calls, no email, only USPS. That includes Social Security, the IRS, all of them.
