The weather doesn't much pay attention to the calendar. And I'm far past the age of wishing time would pass faster than it does.

The one thing Dallas does better than Houston is the weather. Hot temps and low humidity is not a myth.

Looks like we got the shaft on the cooler weather. I hate it when they forecast out that far and it doesn't even happen.

@Michael1960 : You are looking at this the wrong way, hurricanes are far better than tornadoes. They give warnings, they're somewhat predictable, and you can plan for landfall. Tornadoes just hit with little to no warning and are just as, if not more, destructive.

@Blackbird : It's not that Dallas does it better! It's because we live so close to the coast and the Gulf, hence the humidity !

@Blackbird : what the hell are you talking about. I posted about cooler weather. It has nothing to do with a hurricane or a tornado. But if you want to go there I'd much rather face a tornado than a hurricane. Tornado 30 seconds tops. Hurricane 12 to 15 hours with the same if not more wind speeds than the tornadoes we have along the coast. and if the hurricane is to the east of you, you won't even have a tornado. Because a tornado wont form on the westside of a hurricane.
