Seventeen Pearland students to display art at Houston Rodeo this March
Seventeen Pearland Independent School District artists will display their art in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's Hayloft Gallery this March.
These students won best of show, gold medal and special merit for their Western-themed art during rodeo art judging Jan. 15.

Established in 1964, the rodeo's School Art Program draws more than 300,000 Western-themed entries by pre-K through 12th-grade students each year. During the show, approximately 60 pieces of art selected by judges are auctioned for student awards and the rodeo's educational fund.
