Ok - I know some of you won't like this - but I was looking for a cheap meal and decided to make Smothered Liver & Onions last night. $2.49 for a package of Liver and not much $ for 3 onions.
It came out delicious ! But it took time. My husband loved it.

No thank you, two of my least favorite foods. Accidentally bit a piece of liver thinking it was chicken fried steak, mom told me it was liver. Have not had a bit since that awful day when I was 10.

@ferocious : LOL, you reminded me of how I would have to leave the house whenever my mom cooked liver and onions. I couldn't even stand the smell of it

@Peartown98 : LOL that was the liver I tried at 10 years of age. My mom went to Luby's with my grandma and had leftover liver. Me thinking it was chicken fried stake took a bit and immediately regretted it.
