@Txtoast : I live down on the corner of Pearland Parkway and Dixie Farm. We did not get one drop. Nada. We heard and saw the light show, but that was it....
THUNDER AND LIGHTNING AND......
Nothing. We had two thunder storms during the night, but not a drop of rain. I am sure someone got rain, but it sure wasn't my house....
My requirements for a camper were, a full bathroom, a kitchen with a stove, oven and fridge, a bedroom with a real bed, and AC. I do have all of these things, so I will go camping in cooler weather. If I am going to just have to stay in to stay cool, I will stay home. When the weather cools down a bit, I hope to go camping again....
Maybe we should take advice from Winnie the Pooh. If we dress for rain, take our umbrellas out and march back and forth, it would attract a rain cloud. I am about to the point of trying this....
