Missing Doxie In Pearland
This was passed along to me through Facebook.
{From Erica Luttmann}
"This week could not be any worse. I've been out of the country visiting family at a delicate time. I'm shaking and crying typing this now because I'm so heartbroken at more terrible news. My dog Bailey got out of the yard on Saturday and my sister has been doing everything to find her but she hasn't come back. I'm devastated and don't know what else to do. I'm asking that you please repost this to anyone you know in Pearland. Bailey has been with me through every tough season in my life. When I went through the worst pain in my life emotionally and my heart was shattered into pieces, she sat with me and never left my side. When I was bedridden after surgeries, she didn't want to be with the other dogs. She wanted to be with me instead. She is incredibly smart (knows 11 tricks) loves everyone and everyone who meets her instantly falls in love too (even those who don't like dogs). We call her our hospitality dog because when people stay at our house, she loves them too. If you're having a bad day, she senses it and makes you feel instantly better. She is the reason I've met some of my favorite people because they love dachshunds too. Chris and I have loved Bailey for nearly a decade. She was our first dog we got together as a puppy and we remain hopeful that she will come back to us. Someone knows something -- I know it. There is missing piece of my heart and I have to find her. I just have to."
She went missing from the neighborhood of Highland Crossing near Pearland Pkwy. If you've seen Bailey, please call or text Erica at 281 748 5522.
