Pearland PD Nabs Bank Robber
On September 22, 2016 at approximately 10:40 AM Pearland Police responded to the report of a robbery that had just occurred at the Woodforest National Bank inside the Kroger at 11003 Shadow Creek Parkway. As officers responded, Pearland Police Dispatch broadcast the suspect's description and advised that he had left the scene in a small gray car.
Officers en route to the robbery saw a vehicle and suspect matching the description given by the bank and initiated a stop on the vehicle in the Sam's Club parking lot at 15800 SH 288. The suspect was detained and later positively identified by witnesses.
Police learned that the suspect was wearing a fishing hat and dark glasses when he walked up to the counter and presented a note to the bank teller demanding money.
